Join us in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, from April 1st to 6th for beach days, poolside lounging, feasting on chef-crafted meals, and maybe even a wedding (spoiler: it’s happening on April 4th). We’re bringing all our favorite people together for a sun-soaked celebration with just the right amount of chaos and magic. Come for the vows, stay for the margaritas—it’s going to be legendary!

Want to save on flights? Here’s our two-step plan for getting to paradise without breaking the bank:
Book a roundtrip flight from your nearest airport to Mexico City (MEX) or Guadalajara (GDL).
Then, book a roundtrip flight from Mexico City or Guadalajara to Puerto Escondido (PXM).
The Catch
On your way home, you’ll likely have an overnight layover in Mexico City or Guadalajara. Use this as an excuse to extend the fun and enjoy a bonus adventure for a night!
Transportation to LODGING
Many of our guests will be arriving and departing around the same time. If you’re interested in shared transportation from the airport, we’ll add you to a WhatsApp group with other folks looking to coordinate. Alternatively:
Taxis and rideshares are readily available.
Vehicle rentals can be arranged if you want the freedom to explore.

Food & Lodging
You didn’t really think we were going to have just a wedding, did you? We’re hosting a whole vacation experience with our favorite people! We’ve secured two stunning beachfront homes as our WEDDING HEADQUARTERS! Here’s what you can look forward to:
Location & Capacity: We are staying a 25 min drive south of the city center of Puerto Escondido. The homes are located directly ON the beach, just 60 meters apart from each other. Each house accommodates approximately 25 guests and features plenty of space to relax and connect — think huge pools and outdoor hangout areas!
Lodging Arrangements: Each of our beautiful beachfront homes has 10 bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom. Here’s how room assignments will be handled:
Private Rooms: Families with kids will have top priority for private rooms. Since private rooms are limited, we’ll do our best to accommodate additional requests based on availability.
Shared Rooms: To make the most of the space, some guests may need to share a room with loved ones or friends. If there’s someone you’d prefer to share a room with, let us know—it’ll help us immensely with planning!
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we create a cozy and unforgettable experience for everyone.
Chefs & Staff: Two private chefs, service staff, and daily housekeeping will make life easy. Meals will be based on a shopping list tailored to everyone’s preferences and dietary needs. Breakfast and lunch will be served separately for each house, and dinners will generally be together in one house. Sit back, relax, and let them work their magic!
Alcohol: Anyone who would like to partake in alcoholic beverages will pitch into a pot over and above the 25$ per day for food. We are thinking some cervezas, tequila, and mixers for margaritas, and maybe some Champaign for toasts and morning mimosas!
Contributions & wedding gifts
Because our biggest wish is to celebrate with all of you, and we know traveling to Mexico for a week is a lot to ask, we’re covering approximately 50% of everyone’s food and lodging costs. If you’re considering a wedding gift or can contribute more, it would help us make this gathering extra special. Here are the suggested contributions:
Lodging (5 nights): $50 per adult per night
Food: $25 per adult per day (includes three chef-prepared meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks)

Evening: Welcome drinks and casual dinner at Wedding Headquarters.
April 2nd – Pool/ Beach Day

April 3rd – Poolside, Beach, & Pre-Wedding Festivities
Afternoon: Help us make our wedding special and unique. We’re asking everyone to prepare a “gift” for the wedding — read a poem, sing a song, or share a special memory or wish. Get ready for some tears (spoiler: Karyn’s already crying).
Evening: Casual dinner & game night. Let’s get to know each other and maybe end the night with an inside joke or two.
April 4th – Wedding Day
Morning: Free time to explore or relax / wedding preparation
Afternoon: Ceremony and reception at Beach front at Wedding headquarters.
Ceremony: 5pm
Dinner, dancing, and celebrating into the night!
April 5th – Recovery Day
Activities & meals TBD
April 6th – Farewell Brunch
Morning: Brunch at Wedding Headquarters.
Afternoon: Spend the rest of the day soaking in paradise and saying goodbyes. Checkout at noon.
What to Pack
Clothing: Light, breathable fabrics for warm weather. Don’t forget swimsuits, sandals, and something fabulous for the wedding.
Wedding Attire: Tropical chic! Think flowy dresses, linen suits, or festive vibes—whatever makes you feel amazing.
Essentials: Sunscreen, bug spray, and reusable water bottles.
Extras: A sense of adventure and your dancing shoes!
Communications
Depending on your phone service, you may or may not have calls or texts. But we will have wifi at both houses and highly encourage WhatsApp for messaging and calls. Here is a link to our group WhatsApp page, where you can ask questions and get a hold of everyone else that is attending.

Q: What’s the weather like in April?
A: Expect warm days (around 85°F/29°C) and cooler evenings (around 58°F/14°C). Pack accordingly.
Q: Are kids welcome?
A: Absolutely! Not only are kids & babies welcome, they are ENCOURAGED! Let us know if you’re bringing little ones so we can help with kid-friendly suggestions.
Q: Can I extend my stay?
A: Of course! There’s plenty to explore in Puerto Escondido and nearby areas.
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?
A: Let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
Q: Why Puerto Escondido?
A: Why not?! There’s only one thing we love more than traveling somewhere new — traveling somewhere new with loved ones! We could have gotten married in Jackson Hole, but that would have been boring (and expensive). Neither of us have been to Puerto Escondido, and it sure looks beautiful! Come discover a new place with us!
